Gorgeous Lanikai Beach Engagement Photography | Oahu, HI

Lanikai Beach at Sunrise is one of my favorite places for an engagement session. The lighting is unreal, the beach is incredible, it’s nice and fairly quiet at sunrise, and the sunrises are always so gorgeous.

I met this sweet recently engaged couple at wedding last year. Daniel was the bestman! I was thrilled to hear he was recently engaged to this little ball of light, Angeline! These two are hilarious and so much fun. They fit together perfectly as they just played with one another nonstop…

Since Lanikai Beach was their favorite beach on the island, they thought it would make for the most perfect spot for their engagement photos to get captured.. they played on the beach.. explored the sands… floated in the ocean while we did drone photography from above.. it was an amazing morning on Oahu.

As the sun rose and the golden light washed over the Nā Mokulua islands they cuddled up and enjoyed the golden light wash over them…

Angeline splashed around in the ocean, as she twirled and danced… her inner beauty exposing itself with every smile, and burst of laughter…

I love that Angeline wore this super sweet white lace romper for her shoot, it was perfect for the beach, and looked beautiful against her sun-kissed skin!

It’s clear to see how much Daniel adores his lady… she’s a fun, fiery, beauty, who keeps him on his toes! Lanikai Beach on Oahu was the perfect location for these two, beachy and vibrant, the location matched their personalities perfectly.

The lighting was just pefect.. you couldn’t ask for more perfect lighting during your Hawaii engagement photo session… We were in awe!

We absolutely loved this haku (flower crown) Angeline’s friend Kahala made for her!! (@kaleilahaolebyhala) Flowers are always such a beautiful addition to any shoot and add a gorgeous pop of color. Also, if it’s a bit windy they help hold you hair in place! Whether it’s an Engagement Photography Session, Wedding Photography or just because, Lanikai Beach is an incredible spot. (and arguably my favorite beach in Hawaii!)

As if Lanikai isn’t one of the most magical places on the planet.. it’s even more gorgeous from above..  aerial photography of Hawaii is always magical! Lanikai Beach is an incredible spot for Engagement Photography for several reasons, it has some of the most vibrant water in Oahu.. there are gorgeous islands out in the distance, the green mountain overlooking the beach is incredible, the palm trees are beautiful, and let’s be real, the aerial view from above is AMAAAAZING!

There really is no place like Hawaii… it radiates pure magic. An incredible place for your wedding photography or engagement session… These islands really are heaven on earth! It’s no wonder it’s such a popular spot for weddings, elopements and engagements, regardless of what the weather is doing it’s always perfect.
